Mike Maynard, Chairman of UK-based agency Napier, has been appointed as the new Network Chairman of Eurocom Worldwide. Mike succeeds Robin Baker, who has led the global PR network for over 20 years. Alongside Deputy Chairman Christoph Schwartz and Network Director Isabel Radwan, Robin played a pivotal role in building Eurocom Worldwide into one of the largest independent B2B PR networks globally.
Mike brings a unique blend of technical and marketing expertise, with a background in electronics engineering and over 25 years at the helm of Napier. Under his leadership, the agency has delivered innovative digital marketing campaigns for international B2B clients. A self-confessed geek with a passion for shaping the future of PR and marketing, Mike quickly embraced AI and has since developed significant expertise in its application within the industry. In addition to his role as Chairman of Napier, Mike serves as Chair of the PRCA B2B Group and lectures in PR at Southampton Solent University.
Over the past five years, Mike has been an active contributor to Eurocom Worldwide – supporting members with expert guidance in digital marketing and AI, referring client business to the network, and participating in the leadership team as Deputy Chairman since 2023.

Mike Maynard commented on his new position: “I’m honoured to take on the role of Chairman of this leading global B2B network and building on Robin Baker's incredible legacy. Communications in the coming years will be shaped by data, AI, and artificial content and I'm excited to have the opportunity to work with some of the best agencies around the world to shape this future. I'm thrilled that I will be supported by the exceptional management team at Eurocom Worldwide.”
Christoph Schwartz, CEO of Germany-based Schwartz Public Relations, will continue in his role as Deputy Chairman, and Isabel Radwan will remain as Network Director overseeing daily operations. In recognition of his extraordinary leadership and engagement for Eurocom Worldwide over two decades, Robin Baker was appointed Honorary President and will continue to offer his invaluable experience and advice to the network.
Reflecting on the leadership transition, Robin Baker said: “I first approached Mike five years ago to invite him to join Eurocom Worldwide. Since then, we’ve worked closely together, and in his role as Deputy Chairman Mike has consistently demonstrated the leadership, vision, and collaborative spirit needed to unite a culturally diverse network of independent agencies and pool their local capabilities for international prospects and campaigns.”
